I discovered and fell in love with Green Gables Fables (GGF) right as it was ending. Almost immediately I decided I had to do a presentation on it for the 2018 L.M. Montgomery Institute biennial conference.

My main interest was on the interaction between the characters and viewers and creators/actors. Because I know the ephemeral nature of the internet, I began taking screencaps of tweets, Instagram posts, Tumblr content, and even YouTube comments. As I worked, the main GGF website went defunct, I found some materials now inaccessible, and discovered other content had been deleted or disappeared  (such as Josie's One Direction Fanfic).

My collection seemed even more important and I worked to capture as much content as I could for research purposes. I sincerely hope that more people will discover and decide to write about this delightful transmedia project, so I am creating this archive as a way to share my hours of work with other viewers and researchers and hopefully save them some time.

None of the content is my own - all images, social media, etc. belongs to the creators of GGF and the viewers (I only included content from public accounts or with permission) , and I am eternally grateful to all of them for producing such a wonderful modern adaptation of Anne.
